By Saturday afternoon her fever registered 38.5 Degree Celsius. We had to bring her to Thomson Medical to see doctor since most clinics had already closed for the day. We thanked God that even though she is unwell but she is still the ever active baby. She still plays hard and eat well.
Today is Monday and Mimi is still a bit feverish. I had to take a day leave and attend to her. She is very happy that I am around and tends to be very attention seeking. I enjoyed that even though I had not been sleeping well over the past few nights because Mimi cannot miss the antibiotic medicine in the night and I had to wake up in the hours like 2am to feed her.
Since we cannot go anywhere these few days, I decided to redesign her play room a little bit. The purpose of doing it was to simulate an environment that will be similar to a childcare center. Hopefully she will be able to adjust better when she enters into the childcare. I break up the room into different areas for different activities. There are : a Creative Corner for her to hang her Sunday School art works, a Learning Area for her to learn her ABC &123, an Animal Kingdom wall where Noah Ark was, a Play Station and Beethoven Time in the living room for her pretend play and music session. Now she can roamed around the house and engaged into different activities. She was thrilled at the sight of it and it keeps her busy for a while.
Day 1 of her fever
