Same goes for today. I was at church in the morning until 12.30pm, then we went to Bendemeer hawker centre for lunch and back again by 1.30pm cos Daddy got teaching today. I slept in the nursery room until Daddy finished his teaching which was 3.30pm already. Meanwhile Mummy was at Vivo City Toys"R"Us. What was she doing there??
Well the story begins when they bought the car seat for me last week. Remember? The car seat comes with a free cup holder and since the car seat is red in colour, the cup holder should be red as well. Moreover we have the brochure from Toys"R"Us that shows our car seat with the cup holder in matching colours also. However we realised ours was a blue one only when we reached home. So Mummy tries to change it to the correct colour in order to match my car seat.
On Friday she went to the branch in Tampines Mall but was told by the staffs that they do not sell any car seat over there. So Mummy asked them to check on the availability of the cup holder in other outlets and was told that the Vivo City outlet has the stock. However as Daddy was in town yesterday, he went back to Forum branch to change it but with no success also. The staff simply told Daddy that there is no stock for the red colour one.
So today Mummy purposely went to Vivo City after having lunch with us and horror of all horrors, she was told that there was no red colour cup holder too. This made Mummy very, very angry and she questioned the staffs about it. Finally it came to light that all these cup holders come in blue colour only despite that the brochure printed a red colour one.
What were the staffs of Toys"R"Us doing???? Aren't they supposed to know their products by heart and provide the consumers with the right information??? All these while we were told that there is no stock for the red colour cup holder when in the first place, they do not bring it in at all!!! It was totally a wild goose chase!
After the whole issue, Mummy turned to shopping to ease her sadness (probably an excuse). Ended up she bought a beautiful hat and a set of clothe for me.
Then she went back to church again to meet us and we went to Er Su's house at Toh Yi Drive. Er Su has just renovated his new house as he is getting married at the end of this year. It was nicely renovated and very spacious too. I even slept on his new bed.
Waiting for Er Su at the void deck
We left his house at about 8.45pm and reached home around 9.30pm. What an eventful day!
