Visit To Jurong Bird Park

Yesterday I visited the Jurong Bird Park. Mummy thought that since we are heading to Jurong for great grandma memorial service, we can drop by in the afternoon. Before that we had lunch in one of the area at Jurong West. A pretty old cluster which even Mummy had not been there before. After that we did some grocery shopping at Sheng Siong and finally heading to the Bird Park to catch the 3pm show.

I was very excited as I always like birds and this time round I can get to see many species of them. It was a pretty hot day and after two bird shows (Birds & Buddies Show & Birds of Prey Show) I was tired as it was nap time. However I refused to sleep afraid that I might missed some interesting birds. We continued on the walk and visited the Penguin Expedition, enter into the World of Darkness (Owl), Pelican Cove and Lory loft. At Lory loft I get to have a close encounter with Lories and Daddy even feed them with bird food.

Towards the end of the walk, my perseverance finally wear off and I zzzzzzzzzzz. Daddy and Mummy took the opportunity to get some bites as well. They visited a restaurant call the Bongo Burger Restaurant located near the entrance. At first Mummy felt that the menu is a bit pricey for burgers and western food. A set of burgers with fries cost at least $10 plus, a mug of coke cost $4. Eventually she order a spring chicken set ($9.90 offer) and a fish and chip set with two coke to share among them and Aunty Dory. But to her surprise, the portion was quite big and most importantly it's tasty. So it's worth the price after all. She also kept some fries for me for dinner as I was in dreamland.
